Privacy Policy
September 26th, 2008

At Slife Labs, LLC, we know that you care a lot about your privacy and personal information. We've developed this Privacy Policy in an effort to respect and protect the privacy of all Slife Teams users.

Your Personal Information and Account

In order to create a Slife Teams account, you will be asked to provide a username, a password, an email address, and a team name. You may also provide optional demographic and geographic information. We will never sell or share any of this information with anyone, and you will be able to completely cancel and delete your account at anytime.

Information We Collect

When the Slife client is associated with a Slife Teams account, it streams "activity events" to Slife Teams based on a criteria specified by the Slife user. Users may choose to stream events corresponding to Slife "activities" and "goals", software applications used and web sites or documents visited. All "activity events" are provided with a time stamp, corresponding to their duration and when they took place. We will never sell or share any individual or team "activity" data.

Software

In order to use the Service, it is necessary that users run the Slife stand-alone application. Slife observes users activities and streams them up to Slife Teams accounts. Slife Labs cannot be held liable for any damage which may arise directly or indirectly out of or from your unauthorized use of the Slife software. Likewise, Slife Labs shall not be liable for any invasion of privacy related to the same.

Cookies

We do not use cookies to capture personally identifiable information. Currently, we only use "session" cookies, which means that they only last for as long as you are online. We use these cookies mainly to keep a record of whether users are signed into the Slife Teams application and to present additional features. We do not share our cookies with any other site, nor do we use cookies to track your behavior on other sites.

Disclaimer

We believe in privacy and therefore will take reasonable measures to ensure that your personally identifiable information remains private. However, in the event that we must disclose personally identifiable information by law (i.e., by court order), in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person or violations of the Terms of Service, we may make such a disclosure without violating this Policy.

Business Transitions

If Slife Labs, LLC is acquired by another company or sells a portion of its assets to another company, it is likely that user information will be a part of the assets transferred. If as a result of such a business transition information is to be collected, used or disclosed in a manner or for a purpose different from that stated above, Slife Labs, LLC will endeavor to notify all users of such changes.

Consent

By disclosing any information to Slife Labs through the web site, you consent to the collection, storage and use of such information by Slife Labs as set out in this Policy and the Terms of Service. Slife Labs will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Slife Teams account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
